OVERVIEW
At one time, there was only a Volume 4 which covered 3-4 part ensemble writing for each orchestral section. However, in 2009, several orchestral sample libraries are being released that will enable composers to create fairly accurate divisi writing in their home recording studios. Because this subject has never really been explored in detail, we decided to dedicate a book just focusing on advanced divisi writing. This is new material that builds on Volume 2A, Orchestrating the Melody Within the String Section.
